yes. finally i am updating. but it will be a sad post. Look ontop. He's Shadow. the most well-behaved dog i have ever met. We are (almost) of the same age. And i can still remember, how i would use to cover my ears because of his barks, how i pulled his tail, and how i would hug him so badly. his lovely kisses he always give to my cousins. Yet the last time i saw him, it was last year. Not even in December. He was already very weak during the December Holidays. While i didn't even have to time to visit him. Yet today, he passed on. When i reached My aunt's house, i immediately cried upon seeing Shadow. He looks peaceful. with his beautifully golden coated fur. it was just so.. peaceful. I bet he's sleeping, right? Wake up. Wake up.

But i know, thats only a part of me trying to convince myself from the truth. there he was, laying down, so peacefully. My heart shattered upon seeing him, and it shattered more upon seeing my family in this way.. It was the first time i experienced this situation. and even though he wasn't mine, He was. To my cousins and aunt, to their other family, and to ours. He was loved. so much.

As he was taken away to the van, i cried again. it was really very saddening. When the van drove away, i turned, and i saw. A very perfectly shaped ball of Shadow's fur, rolling down the floor. I watched as it went out the open gates. Immediately i asked God, why does it hurts when we see our beloved pass away? Why must they die? and I knew straight away, God answered me. I was convinced that somehow, *a bird's gotta leave its nest* sooner or later. I completely let loose of my excuses that Shadow was gone. and accepted the facts.

but deep down inside of me, there's still a part of me that's missing, this really friendly giant.

Rest in Peace Shaggy,
You were a very great dog. ♥
